The Spa At Cebu has pioneered the spa business in Cebu, starting operations in 1998 at Gaisano Country Mall. The business was originally conceptualized to merely showcase the world’s state-of-the-art products for spa equipment in Cebu. With the trust of conveying the best equipment, we train prospective buyers in the proper usage of the product, thus allowing them to experience luxury and eventually diverge into our own Spa Wellness Business.
From 2000 to 2005, Roman Spa operated in the biggest hotel in Cebu during that time. It was a big success, and with the positive response to the Spa Wellness business, the company launched the name “The Spa At Cebu” in 2005 at #1 Paseo Saturnino, Banilad Cebu City, which occupied a 3000 sqm lot in the premier subdivision near Maria Luisa Estate Subdivision.
In 2008, we were invited to operate a spa in an exclusive membership club in Cebu City Sports Club. It operated the in-house spa and provided wellness exclusively to members and their guests. To cater to the growing number of spa enthusiasts in the city
In early 2010, we were invited to operate “The Blue Spa” at Radisson Blu Hotel, a newly opened 5-star hotel in Cebu City. “The Spa At Cebu” opened a new branch in 2012 at J Centre Mall in Mandaue City. It features private steam and shower facilities.
To maintain the high standard of spa services of The Spa At Cebu, we sent our therapists to Manila and Thailand for training. We invited an expert from China to train our therapists in foot reflexology. Aside from that, we also had a Master Trainer from Holland and Bali, Indonesia, to train our therapists with the newest techniques and upgrade our spa services standards. We had a collaboration with Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning in Canada for our spa services and treatments.
Currently, we are operating three different spa outlets located at Bai Hotel, Mactan International Airport Terminal 1 (Domestic), and Terminal 2 (International).
Despite the growing number of spa operators, The Spa At Cebu offers highly innovative features that make us a leader in the industry. Thus, our goal here is to “Redefine Relaxation” for our customers, whether they are local or foreign. We want to make sure that they will be pampered and served with our best service.
